Activities

Tsuniah lake has a marvelous history, as some customers have been coming back for over 30 years. It is the kind of marvelous hideaway that flyers find and other travelers only dream about. If the place you have in mind features a pristine, blue lake surrounded by dense pine forests and snow-capped mountains, Tsuniah Lake Lodge is your destination. While you’re here, there are a number of ways to relax:

Boating & Fishing

How would you like to top your trip by catching a healthy, rainbow trout? Well, whether you fly fish or troll, you will enjoy your experience! Your fish will be prepared for the trip home by either freezing, or smoking them in our smokehouse?

Perhaps you’d rather go boating. You might just want to take a boat out on the lake and enjoy the scenery and quiet. Or canoe down the lake for a slow, relaxing paddle.

Hiking & Mountain Biking

There are many places to hike and take in nature. The lodge, located at the foot of Tsuniah Mountain, has many day hikes within the valley. Whether you want to climb the mountain or just stroll down the lake, you can take in a lot of natural beauty.

There are great mountain biking opportunities for you to take in as well. You can bike into T’sylos Park and enjoy the views from many points on Chilko Lake.

Scenery & Photography

Don’t forget to bring your camera because whatever you decide to do, you don’t want to miss a great photo opportunity. You never know when you are going to see that great view or what animal you might see drinking in the lake, grazing in a meadow or snoozing in a tree.

T’sylos Park

We offer charter trips on beautiful Chilko Lake, the heart of T’sylos Provincial Park. Enjoy the day just taking in the breathtaking scenery Chilko Lake has to offer. Or try your hand at catching a Dolly Varden or a large Rainbow Trout, then have it cooked up and have a great lunch on a quiet beach.

Horseback Riding

There are trail rides down the shores of Tsuniah Lake – or take a ride into T’sylos Park.
